Personal:
Green/Black dreadfalls with super-long tail. Inspiration from my little Shadow Darner Dragonfly (see my Macros gallery) who has bright green stripes that are circled with black. Also, Marius LeRoux's (my poor, abused OC) color scheme was always black and several shades of green (mostly emerald to acid). So it's also a nod to him as I hope to combine everything into a steam/raver punk kind of look by Genericon. Or I'll look like a green and black idiot. We'll see. My idea is to avoid overstepping into the Harajuku/Decora look, so I won't be full on candy raver either. Rainbows can be fun, but not on me. >.>; I'd look like a really gay StayPuft Marshmallow Man.
---Also, I wear red every day thanks to the big Bullseye, so breaking out of that on the color wheel is sort of a relief to the eyes. @__@; Though I do work with red/black a lot, I don't want to appear like a one trick pony, yanno?
Darubaman: Kind of a/my masculine(ish) take on the Yuki-Onna mythos from Japan, right now, I'm heading into the Xmas season thinking about accessories, but unless I quit work and work out clothing *now* it will definitely not be ready by this Genericon. (Can anyone see that I don't really intend to cosplay something specific?) But I've started a few accessories, the only problem is... well, it's always going to be clothing and hair. The hair will probably end up being a wig I get later on during next year, as I don't want to splurge all at once, and I hope to have better accommodations in my house by then...
Yomotsumono: Thanks to :koomori-desu: urging me to watch The Great Yokai War (and I finally saw most of it) I have a new yokai that I
Desert Scavenger: Speaking of Steampunk, I have an idea for a less heavyweight costume. Carting about five pounds of keys just for a costume is crazy, though does give an awesome effect for a Lightkeeper character. Hoooooowever, in not wanting to only have one costume that I felt lacked zazz, I want to do another kind of character with a full face mask, lighter clothing and... well, too much to describe. Sketches may be posted in the future.
Friendly:
Kusuriuri's staff: :koomori-desu: requested I recreate the staff/sword for the Medicine Seller from the Mononoke series, as well as the pendant. The pendant is less worrisome than the staff. I've the materials (right down to little gems and some big bells) but not yet the energy. Maybe a weekend with the materials and some Rockstar will help. Or hinder. I dunno which.
Red/Black goggles: :hawthorne-cat: really likes my big goggles from my steampunk costume, but recreating something similar will be the hard part if I don't find lenses. Blarg.
Professional:
Need to make more lolita jewelry, hairbows, and what not, and reserve table (so this is a note to myself to reserve one!) Also, figure out prices and a display. If I go balls-up and don't do anything, I'll just squirrel stuff away or post it directly to my Etsy.
On another note: God, Lili in Tekken is nucking futs. She wants Alisa as her "new dolly." Should I be worried that I like her more because of that? Maybe because I have a thing for whackjobs. *elbows Bryan-muse in the ribs*
